The band partnered up with United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) right after the release of Love Yourself Her Album in October 2017 for an anti-violence campaign titled 'Love Myself'. BTS and their label Big Hit entertainment entered a two year partnership with UNICEF and pledged 500 million Korean Won for the End Violence UNICEF campaign.  They would also donate 3% from their physical album sales for their Love Yourself album series to UNICEF which has now collected over 1 million dollars.
Almost a year later, BTS will attend the 73rd session of the UN general assembly and will be part of UNICEF's new youth agenda titled 'General Unlimited'. They are expected to give a three minute speech at the assembly which is expected to have high profile diplomats in attendance.
BTS is currently in Canada for the North American leg of their world tour. They will also make an appearance at Good Morning America and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon show in the coming week.
