The movie has not even aired yet but it is getting massive talk online. It has hit 5 million tweets so far outdoing movies like The Maze Runner: Death Cure, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Fifty Shades Freed.
Twitter has in response launched a custom emoji that pops when you tweet using the hashtag #BlackPanther. Lupita Nyong'o who might come to Kenya for the exclusive premiere in Kisumu city also has something to smile about. Her character, Nakia, has also been assigned an emoji on Twitter. Some of the records that Black Panther has broken include Marvel movie to sell the most pre-movie tickets on Fandago as well as the first Marvel movie to feature a predominantly black cast. The anticipation for this movie keeps on growing with only a few days left to the premiere.
Fans will be attending the movie donned in African attire. The best part is, Kenya Buzz is giving away cool merchandise from Wakanda so make sure to check our social media pages to participate. Here are what Kenyans and other enthusiasts are tweeting about the upcoming blockbuster.
