Bell Bottom is a Hindi-language action thriller film inspired from real life hijacking events in India by Khalistani separatists during the 1980s and is the first major Bollywood film to release in Indian cinemas after a quarter devastated by the deadly second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In Bell Bottom, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar plays Divakara, AKA Agent Bell Bottom, who is sought after by the state and foreign intel departments to put a stop to the Khalsa insurrections and plane hijackings that threaten to destabilize India and the region.

Divakara brings his wit, superhuman strength (typical of Bollywood action films) and quirky way of solving mysteries to put an end to the menace.
