Filipino stars, Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards are confirmed to star in a new movie together. This will be a joint project by GMA pictures and Viva Films, directed by Ruel Naval. The news comes a pleasant surprise to fans who will get to see actors from two rival companies work together. Bea Alonzo recently ended her exclusive contract with Star Magic after 19 years, giving her an option to work on different projects.
The movie is a Filipino adaptation of Korean hit movie from 2004, A moment to Remember, staring Jung Woosung and Son Yejin. The story follows the story of a young married couple whose life turns difficult when the wife is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease.
The film will be Bea and Alden's first theatric pairing as the actress marks her 20th anniversary in showbiz. The actress shared the news on her Instagram account, sharing her excitement over working with Alden Richards writing, " Finally doing a movie with this one! I am so excited! @aldenrichards02
We are making the Philippine adaptation of the Korean film, "A Moment To Remember." Thank you, Viva Films, for offering me this movie and for paving the way so this could all be possible. I love making films, and there is no better way to celebrate my 20 years in the business but to do movies."
