Public High Schools closed this past week for the April holidays to give room for administration of the  KCSE examinations. This is a life changing period for teens across Kenya. They're transitioning to adulthood and they now have to make decisions on higher education and career choices.
Education in Kenya is quite expensive and out of reach for many kids and teens. Even with the state allocating 5.3% of the country's GDP towards education, many families are still struggling to educate their children in public colleges/universities.  Also, glaring inequalities in the country lock out many high school graduates in Kenya from accessing opportunities outside academia.

Ministry of Education Scholarship Fund

Visa Oshwal Aid
This scholarship is exclusively open to Kenyan students who are undertaking undergraduate degrees in local universities. Up to 20 awards are given annually amounting to a maximum of kshs 100,000 per annum. Applications are accepted from July to August each year.  READ MORE
