From outfit coordination with your Covid mask to Instagram Charcuterie boards to the resounding return of flair pants. 2021 gave us some cool trends that we hope will stick around. But there are a few trends that are a bit, uhm, so last year and we’re ready to kiss goodbye.

Fake Louis Vuitton Boots

Everyone and their mama were wearing hideous faux Louis Vuitton boots in Nairobi CBD. Ugh! And we thought crocs were bad! 

Sipangwingiwi! 

Our Kanye West  version of ‘You can’t tell me nothing’, this narcissistic  phrase that was ubiquitous on social media timelines simply has to go. We’ve got to do better in 2022, KOT.

Instagram stores are notorious for this vacuous nonsense and we’re not sure what they’re trying to achieve by not telling us upfront how much their ‘abidas’ sneakers cost.
