The Madora store at the Westgate is the epitome of exquisiteness and this can be felt with the waft of fresh-smelling fragrance that hits you the second you enter the store. Madora is a French company that is home to over 28 luxury high-end brands the likes of Lancome, Tom Ford, Dior, Chanel, YSL and many more. They opened their doors in February 2016 at Westgate and has since expanded to have branches in the Two Rivers Mall, the Hub and soon to open in Village Market.
Dior is a 3-axis company that is renowned for its fragrance line but also specializes in skin care products and make-up. The luxurious event had a tight-knit guest list of the who's-who in attendance, with a Dior make-up artist from South Africa: - Mpumi, getting all the ladies' make-up done while elaborately explaining the benefits of each product.
Needless to say, it was a completely delightful experience where invited guests were able to interact with the in-store make-up artists like Wilson Odiye who gave a tonne of useful advice on the variety of brands and their suitability with differing skin types. Even better, there were delicious bitings served that perfectly catered for your sweet-tooth cravings- cookies, plain and chocolate croissants were the order of the day.
The sole purpose of the event was to unveil Dior's all new liquid lip stain with intense, long-wear color in matte, metal, and satin as well as their new Eau de parfum, "
Miss Dior" fragrance. The fresh new fragrance, which happens to be a 5-step formulation, started off as an eau du toilette, then got refined to become an EDP- a deeper concentrate from the toilette and in 2016 they released Miss Dior "absolutely blooming" which was a mix between the EDP and toilette, an orange blossom and musky mix. Eau Le Parfum was the next formulation and had the strongest scent of the three before it. Finally, they launched the Eau de parfum version: - a timeless scent with an aquatic smell that's perfect for work and special events.
