Le Band are a Kenyan boy band comprising four super-cool millennials best known for their hit collaboration with "The Search" winner, Suzziah dubbed "Number 1".  These new kids on the block recently released another single titled "Leo".
The party anthem basically talks about how Kenyan girls love to party and how the fellas are strapped and ready to have a good time. The video is so fab! It is directed by Moses Osidiana who was also behind the camera for Cece Sagini and Octopizzo's "I'm A Doer" which won him an award at the 2016 Pulse Music Video Awards. I'm totally digging the visual effects and emojis incorporated in it, not to mention the luxurious house they shot the video in.
The video vixens genuinely look like they're having the time of their life. The outfits are blazing fire and aren't unnecessarily exposing like is common in music videos of this type. You can spot some Instagram celebrities making cameo appearances, including Zarina Tegani.
Most of all, the song is infectiously catchy. The boys all have different tones, but when combined they produce a magnificent sound. They are authentic to Kenyan culture which is refreshing to see in a hugely Americanized Kenyan music industry. These guys are the new Sauti Sol in the making.
Our new artists continue to produce quality music, and Le Band are at the forefront of this new movement. Take a look at the "Leo" music video:
