'A Man Like You' Leads The Sanaa Theatre Awards Nominations

A Man Like You, the play that wowed theatregoers in Nairobi and New York has bagged a deserved seven nominations for this year's Sanaa Theatre Awards. It is the play with the most nominations, receiving all-round nods in production, writing and acting.A masterful examination of the mind of a terrorist, the riveting play was written and directed by Kenyan-born playwright Silvia Cassini. She has received two individual nominations for both Best Director and Best Playwright categories. The incredibly talented Kenyan cast included Nairobi Half Life star Maina Olwenya who pops in with a Best Actor nomination.The other categories rounding up the plays awards-leading noms are Best Production, Best Tragedy, Best Play in English, and Best Production On Governance And Human Rights.Vote for A Man Like You and all your favourite plays of 2016 here.
