Film makers gather around! We have some exciting news.

The Oscars Selection Committee Kenya has announced that they’ll be accepting submissions from Kenyan filmmakers. Their feature films will be up for consideration for the 92nd Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science Awards which will go down on the 9th of February 2020 in the Best International Feature Film Category.

To be eligible, the film has to be a 40 minute motion picture produced outside of America.

Only one film per country can qualify and the film selected in Kenya will be considered a nomination. Nominees will then be eligible to compete for the Oscar.

Entries which will be scrutinized under the eligibility rules should be hand-delivered to the Kenya Film Commission office by Monday, 9th September 2019.
