The year 2020 will undoubtedly be a monumental year for the video game industry. In addition to the blockbuster hits that will accompany the launches of the upcoming Xbox Series X and the PS5 consoles, Here are some of the games that we are most excited about .

Resident Evil 3

Resident Evil 3 is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. The game is a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and follows Jill Valentine as she attempts to escape a zombie apocalypse while hunted by an intelligent bioweapon known as Nemesis.
The story is set during the same time of events of Resident Evil 2 in September 1998. Players control former S.T.A.R.S officer Jill Valentine as she attempts to escape Raccoon City during a zombie apocalypse caused by an outbreak of the T-Virus. She is hunted by an intelligent bioweapon known as Nemesis, who attempts to kill her and all remaining S.T.A.R.S members
Resident Evil 3 was announced during an online PlayStation presentation in December 2019, and is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows on April 3, 2020. A collector's edition will be available for the console versions and features a Jill Valentine figure, hardcover art book, Raccoon City map poster, and two-disc soundtrack.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4. The game is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation game Final Fantasy VII. Square Enix plans to release the game in episodic installments, with the first scheduled for release on April 10, 2020.
Players control mercenary Cloud Strife as he and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE battle the corrupt Shinra megacorporation and the legendary soldier Sephiroth. The gameplay combines real-time action similar to Dissidia Final Fantasy with other strategic elements.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 17 September 2020. Adapted from the Cyberpunk franchise, it takes place in dystopian Night City, an open world with six distinct regions. Players assume the role of the customizable mercenary V in a first-person perspective, with skills in hacking and machinery, an arsenal of ranged weapons, and options for melee combat. Cyberpunk 2077 is developed using the REDengine 4 game engine. They launched a new division in Wrocław, Poland and partnered with Digital Scapes to assist production. Around 500 total staff members are involved with the development, exceeding the number that worked on the studio's previous game, The Witcher 3: Wild HuntCyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith consulted on the project, and actor Keanu Reeves has a starring role.

The Last of Us Part II

The Last of Us Part II is an upcoming action-adventure survival horror game and played from the third-person perspective. Players can use firearms, improvised weapons, and stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. The gameplay mechanics in Part II have also expanded upon its predecessor, The Last of Us. In Part II the player character can traverse the environment further by being able to reach higher vantage points by jumping and climbing whilst playing as the more nimble Ellie. Players can also crawl in prone to evade hostile enemies.

Marvel's Avengers

The game can be played offline as a single-player experience or online with up to four people during certain aspects of the game. The game will feature many customization options including abilities and costumes, which can be upgraded using a skill tree. Costumes have been sourced from "all corners of the Marvel universe" and can be bought separately as DLC. Players will also be able to receive free updates containing new regions and characters.
Marvel's Avengers features a large roster of characters drawn from the Marvel Universe, consisting primarily of the title team members and other superheroes, such as Captain America (Jeff Schine), Iron Man (Nolan North), Hulk (Troy Baker/Darin De Paul), Black Widow (Laura Bailey), Thor (Travis Willingham), Hank PymHawkeyeand Ms. Marvel (Sandra Saad). During the game, the heroes come into conflict with several supervillains; among them are the Abomination and Taskmaster.
The story begins on A-Day, where the Avengers are celebrating the unveiling of a second headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by a Terrigen crystal. The ceremony soon goes awry when a catastrophic incident results in most of the city being destroyed and the apparent death of Captain America. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, the rebuilt city is now under the control of A.I.M. and superheroes are outlawed. But with the world in peril once more, Kamala Khan uncovers a shocking conspiracy and embarks on a quest to reassemble Earth's Mightiest Heroes, avenge Captain America's death, and uncover the true culprit behind A-Day.
