1. Campsite Gear
Campsite gear includes sleeping bags, pegs, tent, sleeping pads, backpacking packs, stove and cookpot, water treatment or filter equipment. When it comes to camping site gear, carry a lot of pillows and blankets for everyone.
It is also advisable to carry enough camping chairs for everyone, flashlights, lanterns and extra batteries.
2. Clothing
Carry socks, waterproof jackets, hiking shoes, pyjamas, hats, and raincoats. Remember to also carry personal items. More often than not, these are forgotten as people pack tents and binoculars.
Include personal items such as underclothes, sunscreen, toothpaste and toothbrushes, wipes, toilet paper, soap, medical supplies, combs and make sure everyone remembers to carry their own.
3. Kitchen Items
Carry a stove, matches, foil, plastic plates and when possible, a cooler with ice. Additionally, carry garbage bags so as to keep your camping area clean during your stay and before you leave. It's essential to not leave garbage that can harm the environment as well as wild animals.
