I hear of someone attending acting classes and I laugh. Then cry. Then start to ponder for a while. I eventually end up biting my nails and removing the foreskin on my fingers. I am sure there is a scientific name for that skin; then again, those are the disadvantages of not attending medical school.

Neil Schell of “Saints” held a workshop for hundreds of aspiring and established actors at Kenya National Theater on 24th February 2011.  He shared his wisdom about what it takes to be a great actor.

Which role best fits you?Sadly, most actors do not know or have a straight answer to that question and most actors proudly say “I can take up any role assigned” or I am versatile , like I have seen most actors having defined themselves as so on their actors profiles.

If there is one question that there is not straight answer to, it has to be this one: I am an aspiring actor and would like to act but where do I start?
