Before I set out to conquer the new Congo Nile Trail, at least in part from Kibuye to Gisenyi, during a trial trip with a group of other media representatives, questions were asked of my sanity, how anyone could walk across rural Africa, considering the presence of wild animals, opportunistic bandits and reckless drivers ready to catapult one into the nearest ditch.

When I first heard of The Vampire Diaries, I told anyone who would listen just how much I hated twilight and couldn’t be compelled to watch a syndicated version. The pup has been steadily gaining a kilo (2.2 pounds) a week! We have another DHLLP and a Rabies vaccination this week, so will get a proper weight and confirm. I will also ask the vet if this is too much weight, too fast. It's equally bad for a dog to be overweight or to gain too much, too early. Just by looking at him, I would say he is growing tall and long at the moment.
