'Crisis' Series Review: NBC's Crisis in the Making? 02 May 2014

The pilot is frantic paced and adrenalin charged. Many characters are introduced in quick succession and a series of revelations made as the show progresses. The plot of this series seems very ridiculous and too geeky especially for the ladies but the introduction of more interesting developments of the soapy kind are sure to keep them watching.

Godzilla Review: King of the Monsters Reigns Again 23 May 2014

The thing that works for this 2014 reboot is that it is intelligent. This version is more traditional, suave and cohesive. It’s bigger and better in every way. All the chips in this year’s version are so perfectly placed that you’ll forget that the star of the show is late to the party. Godzilla almost plays a supporting role.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Review: Fun Times With B-List Marvel Superheroes 01 Aug 2014

Guardians of the Galaxy is a worthy trip to take. It's fantastical, thrilling, delightfully loud with no shortage of laughs and most of all, charmingly retro. I give it a thumbs up.

‘Into the Storm’ Review: An Intense and Jaw-Dropping Tearjerker 12 Sep 2014

Into the Storm is shot in an effectively fast pace that is intense and emotionally involving. The special weather effects used in this film are undoubtedly the best thing about it and are enough to keep you glued to the screen.

‘Furious 7’ Review: Paul Walker’s Last Hurrah Is One Heck of a Ride! 02 Apr 2015

Furious 7’s loud moments are perfectly weighted with intimate ones. And with Paul Walker’s shadow hanging over the film, what previously seemed like typical Furiouspeak now takes on a honest, more solemn meaning.

The Lawyer, The Wife and The Boobs: 'The Other Woman' Review 02 May 2014

I’d say The Other Woman is a film that features farting and diarrhoea scenes, a nipple segment, a huge dog taking a full-view dump on an apartment floor and a man being sexually humiliated by a transgender woman. Oh, and 109 minutes of women talking about nothing but men. Boring!!!

Comparing U.K. and U.S. Mistresses | Series Reviews 23 May 2014

I watched the U.K. version the year after it was concluded. I was immediately hooked; I think about it to date, I didn’t get enough. To do complete justice to this review, I watched the U.S. version. Thank God I did not have the misfortune of watching that one first.

Prequel, Sequel, Sidequel or Requel?: 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Review 30 May 2014

The time-travel theme is intriguing but that’s where my confusion started. We go to 1973 but stay in the future, which is actually the present. Get my drift? The plot was hard to understand, there were many characters and they kept referencing the other movies in the franchise. Everything becomes a muddle.

The Dashing Hero, Explosions and Time Travel- Just Another Tom Cruise Movie: Edge of Tomorrow Review 04 Jun 2014

Tom Cruise playing the dashing hero in the explosions and time travel genre is starting to wear me out. Live, die, repeat therefore seems an apt tagline to have on a poster for the latest Cruise movie.
