The Shaggy Dog Show is a day of family fun for all ages and your dogs can attend too! Just be sure dogs are leashed and bring your dog’s current vaccination record. There are fun classes to enter such as Shaggiest Dog, Waggiest Tail and the Dog/Owner that look most alike etc. Some of the events are judged by celebrities, so turn up and do some celebrity watching. Fab Media will be there taking pictures and writing an article for their magazine, Fab Pets, who knows you or your pet, could be in the next issue!

There will be booths selling merchandise (both gifts and dog items alike), catering and bar available. Kids activities and numerous dog demonstrations. My favorite every year is the demo done with KSPCA dogs that only a month or 6 weeks before had even never seen a leash and collar and were found stray or living in a dump. The kennel staff train the dogs to do a small demonstration of basic obedience; all the dogs are up for adoption so you can see what minimal training effort can produce. If you are looking to adopt a dog come on out and see what sorts of dogs they have up for re-homing and fill out an application.
