Nairobi’s monthly Blankets & Wine music festival is definitely the new caviar on my old toast. I went along to the Mamba Leisure Gardens last Sunday and felt like I was in Milan, but a funky, Afro-Fusion version of the Italian city of fashion.

Beyonce – 4: Release Date: 19th Sep 2011 Amazing lyrics, awesome vocals, sick beats, soulful, fun, all in one album. And especially since target did an exclusive with 3 extra songs (which are great) and 3 remixes (which are sick) made me even love the album even more! Its defiantly worth your time and money, and being her 4th studio album, this will be an absolute smasher. Making things better she turns 30th she all grown and matured in her vocals. |

Gavin DeGraw – Sweeter: Release Date: 19th Sep 2011 Proving to be at the top of his game, Gavin DeGraw returns this week with his fourth studio album, Sweeter. The singer-songwriter sought to expand and experiment with his sound this time around. He decided to change it up by working with co-writers for the first time. The album's underlying theme really just boils down to honesty, which is simply compelling. This is a very revealing, yet vulnerable side that we haven't experienced from DeGraw on his previous albums. This album will touch you due to its wide range of variance |

Kasabian – velociraptor: Release date: 19th Sep 2011 Tom Meighan has admitted he gets emotional singing songs from the new Kasabian album 'Velociraptor!' because the record is so personal. Tome believes one of the reasons this album is more personal is because the band are finally growing up since the other members - Serge, Chris Edwards, Ian Matthews and Jay Mehler - all have kids. "It's just we're at that age and reflecting on what's happened since we were young. We're going through all the memories and we're looking back. Maybe it's because we've got families. |

Lira - Return of love: Release date: 19th Sept 2011 Songstress, LIRA is back with her fourth studio album, titled Return To Love. She explained the reason for the title as “My first album was titled ALL MY LOVE and it was an album that initially caused some heartache for me. It was released at a time when I hadn’t yet found even the real beginnings of the sound and presence that I wanted to convey and was fumbling a little in the dark. But yet that album forms part of my history and so this new record is something of a statement about an acceptance of who I am – a return to me.” |
