The Kenya Film Commission announced the winners of the 2024 Kalasha Awards at the KICC gala. CS Ababu Namwamba attended the event, which brought together the Kenyan film community to recognize exceptional talent. Sheila Mwanyigha and Maqbul Mohammed hosted the 13th edition of the awards.
 
Key winners included "Where The River Divides," "Mvera," and "Pepeta," which received multiple awards. The late actor Charles Ouda was posthumously awarded Best Lead Actor in a TV Drama for his role in "Salem."
