This is quite a simple recipe and has just the perfect taste, especially if served with the yogurt dip.

½ kilo lean ground beef
250 grams feta cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 egg white, lightly beaten
2-3 green onions, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Flour to coat meatballs
Vegetable oil for frying

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except for the flour and oil.  Roll into 1 inch balls and coat in flour.  Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.  Brown meatballs on all sides until cooked through.  Remove from pan and drain on paper towel.  Serve with toothpicks and yogurt dip as an appetizer at a cocktail party.

Yogurt Dip for Meatballs

1 cup plain yogurt
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint or basil
½ teaspoon ground cumin

Stir all ingredients together and use as a dip for meatballs.
