The 36 year old South African super siren has been a Hollywood attraction since her appearance in The Devil's Advocate as Mary Ann, the unsuspecting wife who gets involved in her husband's misadventures with his supernatural boss. Since then she has conquered the silver screen and also made a splash on the television screen in her appearance as a retarded millionaire in Arrested Development. She is the child of an alcoholic home (her mother shot her father dead in self-defense) which perhaps explains her humanitarian nature. Charlize fronts an organization known as The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project which seeks to reduce and eradicate the prevalence of HIV in Africa. Judging by the color of her skin it's hard to imagine she is an African but she is actually born and raised.
