Gangsters have been reported to use motorcycles to attack victims or make quick get-aways from crime scenes. In the recent past, a new trend has been reported where robbers pose as boda-boda operators especially after dusk. Once hired to ferry someone to a destination, the operator-turned robber rides the victims to waiting accomplices where they are robbed and female victims also raped. Police caution the public to beware such criminals.
