Last weekend I was invited to a festival, (Africa's Smallest Festival) at Daraja Academy towards Doldol. It was organized by students from the Global Citizen Course (GCC) which is a project run by MS Action Aid. The festival was part of a de briefing exercise for the students.

My curiosity was piqued by “The People of Afghanistan”, an exhibition of photographs by Arvind Vohora at the former RaMoMA in Nairobi. I didn’t know what to expect because I have to admit I didn’t know much about this country apart from what I heard occasionally about the Taliban, the U.S.-led war, and the presence of al Qaeda.
