Art

Come and see oil paintings of animals and landscapes by Karen Rowe at the Talisman Restaurant through the 17th of December. 

‘Looking Back’, an exhibition of cartoons by leading cartoonists that presents a visual history of Kenya’s political, economical, social and cultural landscape since the 2002, runs through the 16th December in the Alliance Française ground floor gallery. 

You are all invited to the end of year Kuona Trust Exhibition at the Go down Arts Centre through the 15th of December.

A story of Tinga Tinga at Le Rustique Restaurant runs through the 16th of December from 6pm to 9pm.

‘Wamalwa Maube at RaMoMA’ will run through the 12th January 2008 at RaMoMA.

An Exhibition of paintings by Jacob Wachira Ezigbo runs through January 31st at Mai Loan.

Theatre

Eric Wainaina presents Lwanda a Ghetto Story at the Alliance Francaise from the 13th to the 15th of December. 

Heartstrings Kenya is back to bring down the 2007 theatre curtain with their hottest, dazzling, fast-rate, funniest and delightful comedy ‘Please Call Me’ at the Kenya National Theatre from 13th to 17th December.

Music

The Italian Institute of Culture and the Kenya Conservatoire of Music request the pleasure of your company at a concert “Italian Music Kenyan Artists” at the Italian Institute of Culture “Michelangelo Hall” on Thursday, 13th December at 6.30pm.

Jazz Tu, with John Chapman on keyboards, Grant Chamberlain on sax, Stanley Kyalo on bass, Moses Njuguna on drums and Obuya Owino on djembe, is releasing a new album entitled The Good the Bad and the Ugali, all original tunes with African themes. The band will be performing at Dorman's in Village Market at 8 pm on Saturday, December 15 and at ISK at 2 pm on Sunday, December 16.

Book Signing

G. Bonn, the author of two picturesque and reviting books, Le Mald Afrique and Peter Beard Scrap Books from Africa and Beyond, will visit the NuMetro Mediastore for book signing and questions on 15th December at the Junction from 11.30a.m to 2.30p.m.

Holiday Camp at Montessori Learning Centre runs through the 21st of December for children between the ages of 4 to 12 years old and 1 to 4 years old. 

Nu Metro and Capital Kids will host an event at Prestige Plaza on 15th December from 9am to 12pm.
