Nairobi Fashion Market

The race to uncover authentically Kenyan Haute Couture may no longer be as much a “race” as we believe as it is a thriving industry. As a recently awakened fashion nap victim I can honestly attest to the fact that fashion in Kenya is alive, well and marching into the future on a classy runway.

The 2nd Edition of the Nairobi Fashion Market came around this past weekend at the Impala Grounds. It was a sweltering Saturday, and although last year I took a peep through the doors and got back into my car, this year I came loaded with camera, cash, blogging pad, and lot of expectation.
